318 Truth in Action Ministries is an alliance of churches in Delta County working together to serve individuals and families with practical needs through volunteers, skilled service, and compassionate community support.
Inspired by 1 John 3:18, we believe love is more than something we say—it is something we demonstrate through our actions.

Faith That Takes Action
318 Truth in Action Ministries exists to bring churches and volunteers together to meet practical needs within our community.
Many elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and families in Delta County face home repairs or accessibility needs they may not be able to complete on their own.
Through referrals, evaluations, volunteers, project coordination, and community support, we work to determine where we can help and then turn compassion into action.

How 318 Truth in Action Works

A Need Is Referred
Individuals, families, churches, or members of the community can tell 318 Truth in Action about someone who needs assistance.

A Coordinator Makes Contact
Each referral is assigned to a coordinator who contacts the individual or family and evaluates the specific need.

The Need Is Evaluated
The request is placed into the ministry's project queue. Priority is determined based on the circumstances of the need, available volunteers, available resources, and the skills required to complete the project.

The Project Is Planned
Project coordinators and estimators determine: materials and supplies needed, estimated project requirements, funding needs, volunteer skill sets required, and whether the project can reasonably be completed by 318 Truth in Action.

Volunteers Are Mobilized
If the ministry is able to take on the project, a date is scheduled and the appropriate volunteers are organized to help meet the need.
Ways We Help
Every project is evaluated individually based on the need, available resources, available funding, and the skills of our volunteers.
Home Repairs
Minor home repairs that help make a home safer and more functional.
Minor Plumbing
Volunteer-supported assistance with appropriate minor plumbing needs.
Minor Electrical
Small electrical projects when the appropriate skilled volunteers are available.
Doors & Windows
Repairing or addressing doors and windows that may affect safety, accessibility, or home function.
Deck Repairs
Helping address deck repairs and related safety concerns.
Handicap Accessibility
Projects that can help elderly or disabled individuals more safely access and use their homes.
Gutters
Minor gutter repairs and related exterior home needs.
Roof Repairs
Appropriate minor roof repairs when the project is within the ministry's available resources and volunteer capabilities.
Other Needs
Some needs may not fit neatly into a category. Encourage people to submit the request so the ministry can evaluate whether it is something they can help with.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that 318 Truth in Action Ministries will be able to complete the project. Each request is evaluated based on need, available volunteers, required skill level, funding, materials, project scope, and ministry capacity.
Serving Our Neighbors
There are many elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and families throughout Delta County who face practical needs around their homes.
Sometimes a repair that may seem small can become a major obstacle for someone who does not have the physical ability, financial resources, tools, or support to address it.
318 Truth in Action Ministries exists to help churches and volunteers respond to those situations with compassion, wisdom, and action.

318 Truth in Action Ministries is built on churches working together for the good of the community.
By combining volunteers, skills, resources, prayer, and relationships, participating churches can help accomplish more together than any one church may be able to accomplish alone.

Real stories from completed projects can be shared here as the ministry continues serving families throughout Delta County.
Each future story will include a project photo, description of the need, what volunteers accomplished, partner churches or volunteers involved, before/after photos, and a short story about the family served.
