Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can submit a request?

Anyone who knows of an individual or family with a need can submit information for consideration.
  • Does submitting a request guarantee the project will be completed?

No. Every need must be evaluated. Projects depend on urgency, project scope, volunteer availability, volunteer skill levels, materials, funding, and the ministry's current capacity.
  • What types of projects do you help with?

Projects may include home repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work, doors, windows, decks, handicap accessibility, gutters, roof repairs, and other practical needs.
  • How are projects prioritized?

Requests are reviewed and placed into a queue. Priority is based on the individual situation as well as available volunteers, resources, funding, and required skills.
  • Can I volunteer if I am not a professional tradesperson?

Yes. Some projects require specialized skills, while others may need general volunteers. People should submit their skills and availability so the ministry can determine appropriate opportunities.
  • Can my church participate?

Yes. We welcome churches across Delta County to partner with us in serving families in need.
